Introducing AG Kiosk

Kiosk is a phone and tablet app to help you connect with collectors in your gallery or at events, all synced directly with your Art Galleria account.

Updated over a week ago

The Kiosk app is a digital visitor book, available free with your Art Galleria plan. All information collected via the app is synced to your Art Galleria contacts.

How it works

  1. Select the artworks and artwork details visible to visitors, then put the app into a password-protected 'event mode' to hide the app settings and private artwork details.

  2. Visitors can register their contact details in the app, browse the available artworks, and favorite the ones they like best.

  3. Visitor details and interest are synced to your Art Galleria Contacts.

  4. Returning visitors can log in again and update their details or preferences.

Step 1 - Set up the app for your event

Kiosk allows you to select a subsection of your inventory and the specific artwork details fields you want to make visible to visitors. You can then use a secure PIN to ensure that visitors can't access your entire account.

1. Select the artwork Collections and/or Exhibitions to include.

2. Configure the artwork detail fields to display.

3. Select the appropriate Branding Theme for this event.

4. Set a four-digit PIN. Ensure your team knows the PIN in case they need to make changes during the event.

5. Click Enter Kiosk Mode.

Visitors can now use the app without getting access to the settings.

Step 2 - Share a tablet with collectors at the event

Provide a tablet where collectors can sign up, entering their name and email address. This creates a new contact in your Art Galleria account, or will connect with their existing one. People who sign up with Kiosk will be tagged with AG Kiosk in Contacts.

New Visitors

Ask new visitors (that is, they have not created a Kiosk profile yet) who you want to connect with to:

1. Select New Visitor.

2. Register with their name, email address and phone number (optional).

3. Select their Art Preferences: Medium, Style, Artists, or Other. (These are recorded as Interests in their Art Galleria Contact profile.)

4. Select the checkbox to agree to receive messages.

5. Click Complete Registration.

After registering, they will receive a verification code at the email they used. They need to enter this to access their account. They can then browse the artworks from the Collections and Exhibitions you've selected to be visible, and favorite any that they like. These will be listed as Interests on their contact in Art Galleria.

Returning Visitors

Returning visitors can select Returning Visitor from the main screen to login to their account again to update their preferences and view their favorites. This will update the information saved in their contact details in Art Galleria.

Step 3 - Review new contacts after the event

Following the even, you'll see new contacts created in the Art Galleria > Contacts area. These contacts will all be in an AG Kiosk group, so you can easily identify them and follow up with them.
