Adding and removing custom contact fields

Create new custom fields, or remove existing ones

Custom contact fields allow you to record information about your contacts that is not covered in the standard contact fields.

Adding a custom field

1. Open Contacts and click Settings

2. Choose a field name and data type. Click Create Field.

3. Drag the field from the Available Fields (Not in Use) to the Contact Custom Fields (in use).

Removing a custom field

Drag the field from the Contact Custom Fields (in use) to the Available Fields (Not in Use).

To view the custom field

1. Click on the contacts name and then click Edit.

2. Click the Custom tab and then you will see your custom field at the bottom.
