Using Interests to organise your contacts

How to better organise your contacts in Art Galleria

Interests allow you to organise client contacts so you can filter and view them together. An interest could be an artist, genre, category, or a custom criteria that you establish.

Create an Interest

1. Go to Contacts, then Interests and click Create New Interest.

2. From here you can either select or create an Interest type:

  • Select Artist, Genre or Category, and then choose a specific criteria within that type, or

  • Create a custom Generic interest to add custom criteria.

3. Add the appropriate contacts to the interest by selecting them from the drop-down menu.

4. Once done, click Create Interest.

5. The new Interest will now appear on the Interests page.

Filter contacts by Interest

On the Contacts page, use the Filter by interest drop-down menu to select an Interest. Only contacts with that interest will be displayed.

Export a group of contacts based on an interest

1. On the Contacts page, click Interests.

2. Find the interest you want to focus on, and open the more options menu (...) for the and select Export to CSV, as shown in the screenshot below.

3. The file CSV will download to your computer.
