Archiving, deleting and restoring artworks

Keep on top of your inventory by using the archive, delete and undelete functions.

Updated this week

You can archive artworks that you no longer want to include in your inventory. Once in the archive, artworks can be permanently deleted.

The difference between archiving and deleting artworks

  • Archiving artworks retains them for future reference; that is, it retains artworks in your account but in a separate view to your main inventory. Artworks associated with an invoice, exhibition, consignment, etc., cannot be deleted, but instead can be archived.

  • Deleted artworks will be completely removed from your inventory 30 days after you delete them.

Archived artworks count towards the number of artworks allowed on your plan; deleted artworks do not.
