Managing artwork Genres

Add or remove Genres to group your artworks by style.

You can add a Genre to your artwork to indicate that the artwork is of a particular style. This article covers how to:

Add a Genre

1. Open Settings and click Genres, and then Add Genre.

2. Enter a name for the new Genre and click Add Genre.

3. Your new Genre will now appear in the list. Use the icons to:

  • Pencil icon - rename.

  • Trash icon - delete.

  • Cross Icon - move by clicking and dragging within the list.

Assign a Genre to an Artwork

1. Open Inventory and click three dots (...) to open the More Options menu, then select Edit.

2. Open the Details tab and click the drop-down menu next to Genre.

3. Select a Genre, and then click Update Artwork.

4. Click Manage View in the Inventory screen and make sure Genre is in the Columns to Display.

Once this is done you can now view which artworks are linked with different Genres.
