Adding a watermark to artwork images

Protect your images by putting an overlay over your images.

Adding watermarks to your images can protect them against unauthorised use. Once this feature is enabled, it will work for future images that are uploaded to the platform.

Please note: To make changes to images you have already uploaded, you will need to re-upload images after enabling or disabling the Watermarks features. You can either follow the process described below, or contact us to request that we re-process all uploaded images.

Enable watermarks for all future artworks

1. Create your Watermark image in your favourite photo editing software:

  • The image should roughly have 25% image transparency.

  • Save the image as a PNG file.

2. Open Settings and click Watermarks.

3. Click on the:

  • Green slider - enable the Watermark feature

  • Choose a file - choose your watermark image.

  • Update Settings - click once done.

Add watermarks to existing artworks

1. Click the Inventory menu and click the three dots (...) more options menu and select Edit on the row of the image you would like to edit.

2. Click Add Images and click Delete to remove the old image. Click Update Artwork once done.

3. In the Inventory view, click the small image thumbnail.

4. The watermark will now display on the full sized image.
