How to change the default settings for invoices

The settings panel allows you to specify certain default settings for invoices you create in Art Galleria and the Sales area of your account.

For the invoice settings, these settings will be the default for all new invoices you create.


1. In Art Galleria, select Settings from the top menu.

2. Click Invoice Settings on the left menu.


3. The Invoice Settings window will open:

You can modify the following things:

Default Invoice Due Date

Specify the default number days for when the invoice is due. Please note, you can override the due date setting on individual invoices if you have agreed different payment terms with a buyer.

Enable Sales Consultant Tracking

Enable this to allow sales consultants to track invoices.

Enable Sales Payment Notifications

Enable this to receive a notification via email when a payment is made on an invoice.

Enable Sales Summary Banner for all users with Sales access

The Sales Summary banner displays sales metrics and invoice filters at the top of the Sales area:

It is recommended to have this option enabled.

Send Invoice / Quote emails from

Specify the email address used for invoices and quotes. Please note you cannot change the sending email address.

Default Discount Type

If you are having a sale, you can specify a percentage or a fixed amount of the total invoice.

Default Tax Option for Invoice Items

Specify if you wish to include tax or have no tax included in the final invoice total.

Invoice Text Number

Set the next Invoice ID number to be used when creating your next invoice. This number will automatically increment with each new invoice you create.

3. Click Update Settings at the bottom of the screen when complete.
