Organizing your inventory

Organise artworks so that you can easily access the segment you need to work with.

Updated over a week ago

In Art Galleria, you can organize your inventory a number of different ways. These tools allow you to segment your inventory to display only the artworks you wish to work with, effectively giving you as many separate inventories as you wish.

Following are a few of the tools available. For detailed instructions, search the Help Center for in-depth articles.

Tools for organizing your inventory

Collections

You can create collections by manually selecting which artworks to include (Standard Collection), or you can use a set of criteria to get the system to create it for you (Smart Collection).

Categories

You can create or modify categories (e.g., painting, digital art, textiles), and then assign them to artworks on the Details tab when editing an artwork.

Artwork Status

Use the standard status options or set your own in order to be able to all artworks within a specific group (e.g., sold, for sale, on loan).

Locations

When you set up and assign artworks to specific locations, you can then view all artworks associated with that location.

Sharing and integrating

You can also create Private Rooms or integrate a subset of the artworks in your account with your external websites.

Managing access

If you add other users (collaborators) to your account, they will all have access to the entire inventory. If you need to limit access or create completely separate inventories, you can create two separate accounts (subscriptions) on Art Galleria. All you need is just a separate email address for each.
