Inventory reports are essential for managing galleries, studios, and collections. They provide detailed information on artworks, aiding in tracking, sales, loans, and exhibitions.

Accurate reports support acquisition decisions, optimize space, and ensure transparency for insurance and audits. Well-maintained reports enhance efficiency and credibility, ensuring proper care of artworks.

This article explains:


Generating a Report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Inventory Report.

2. Depending on what you want to run the report for, select your artwork source from a specific collection, or artworks from a specific artist.

Optional settings:

  • Include artwork description

  • Include draft artwork - Includes artworks in your report that currently have the details pending status on them.

  • Include value of works (No, Retail Price, Purchase Price)

  • Based on (Assigned Location, Consignments) - Click Consignments, and select a date to run the report on consigned artworks from a specific date.

  • Report Type (HTML, PDF, CSV) - Changes the output format of the report.

3. Once you have selected your desired settings, click Generate Report.
