Sales reports are crucial for offering insights into market trends and sales performance. Artists can gauge the popularity of their works, galleries can optimize inventory and marketing, and collectors can track investment value and discover new artists.

Generating a Report
1. Navigate to Reports > Sales Report.
2. The first option available is your time frame. You can choose the run the report for a single day by selecting Custom Dates, and choosing one day, or you can select a preset date range, including from the last month, 3 months, or all time.
3. Next, you can choose your preferred report format:
HTML: Ideal for a quick glance at your sales data, the report will load directly in your web browser.
PDF: Perfect for saving or viewing on different devices. Selecting this option will download the document to your computer.
CSV: Best for those who need an editable table-style document, which can be opened and modified in spreadsheet applications.'
Optional Settings & Report Examples
You can customize what you want to run your sales data for. See below for the different options available:
Summary: An overview of total sales by currency, along with a detailed list of contacts who made purchases and their aggregated sales amounts.
By Invoice: A full sales overview, focusing on individual invoices.
By Artist: An overview of invoices, organized by the artist whose artwork was purchased.
By Category: An overview of invoices, organized by the category associated with those artworks.
By Consultant: An overview of invoices categorized by the sales consultant associated with the sale.
By Contact: An overview of invoices, organized by the artwork buyer.
By Location: An overview of artwork sales grouped by their associated locations.
By Exhibition: An overview of artwork sales grouped by the exhibition they were apart of when sold.
